Allen & Unwin (A&U) has acquired ANZ rights to Fancy Meeting You Here from superstar duo Ali Berg and Michelle Kalus.
Evie is a thirty-year-old wannabe screenwriter who spends her days managing a London cinema bar, working on a podcast with her best friend Ben, and reading Hugo Hearst’s books on repeat.
NEWS: The Book Ninja Slated For The Big Screen
The Book Ninja by Ali Berg and Michelle Kalus has been optioned to be developed into a feature film by the award-winning producer Chris Brown of Pictures in Paradise (The Railway Man, The Proposition and Daybreakers) and Veronica Fury of Fury Film Co (Boar).

(They’re, of course, sorely misguided and missing out on a genre of literature that warms the heart and reassures you in a cold, cruel world that love and good things are possible.)
